Only if you have experienced it yourself, you know what you are talking about

What could be more exiting than giving joy to other people day after day? That exactly was my first thought when I was allowed to take over the position as the Marketing Director at aquafun in the summer of 2018. That I first wanted to experience myself, what I market in the future, was clear...

So off in the plane and on to Spain – exactly to Reus – to our friend and partner Silvio. Do not worry, I will not bore you with one of these travelogues. But if I promise you, a visit of an aquafun water park is an unforgettable experience, then you know that I know exactly what I'm talking about. After some meetings and discussions on the first day Silvio accompanied me to the beach on the morning of the second day.

Leisure time? No way.

Almost the whole day I spent at the beach of Cambrils around the area and on the water park. Since the weather on this day mostely was OK at best, I had the park in the morning completely for myself alone. Well - not quite. Park operator Belinda accompanied me with a camera. Of course not only as a nice gesture, as I quickly realized. Belinda gave me some duties for the daily maintenance. Check and readjust connecting cables and gap covers. Checking the air pressure, pumping up some air - after all, we discovered a small hole in one element under the surface of the water. A few cleaning works against the dirt of the day before.

On a treasure hunt

In between, I also had to be active as a "pearl diver". Belinda had lost her engagement ring – sinking slowly to the bottom of the sea – while lashing a connecting belt. Clear water, luckily only 3 m water depth and after the second "dive" I had rescued the jewel again.

Oh yes - of course I slided, jumped and climbed a few times, embarrassed myself as Tarzan on the Swing Out and actually made the Single Walk in the fourth attempt, without flying into the water. Really a great experience. But also quite exhausting for the old man at the sea.

Shining children's eyes

Back on the beach, I then just concentrted to observe the life around the little beach hut of the park. It was getting sunnier and the first families, lone fighters and couples wanted to have fun. So buy tickets, continue to try the life jackets, a short safety briefing and off you go. Hour after hour more visitors came. The shining eyes of the children when buying the tickets, I keep forever in memory. A very important drive for what I do at aquafun day by day.
