The Pelican Aquapark is an initiative of the Pelican School, which specializes in the organization of water sports camps for young people aged six to eighteen. “Every year we look for new and exciting water activities to preserve the unique and exclusive character of our water sports camps,” says Bram Schram, Manager of the Pelican School. “We came up with the idea of purchasing an inflatable water park.”
aquafun – as the name indicates
“Soon it was decided to release the license for a fully inflatable aquafun water park at our location in De Lilse Bergen,” Schram continues.
Whether you want to enjoy yourself on the Cube, the Trampoline, Slide or Katapult – young and old will enjoy the water fun. Children from the age of six will be able to enjoy themselves in the summer, but adults are also more than welcome. The water park will be open daily in the summer and has a maximum capacity of 50 users per hour.
Entrance 8 € – Fun guaranteed
“Tickets can be purchased online for eight euros for one hour of entry to the park. There is currently an early booking discount, which means that tickets cost only six euros. At the counter tickets cost ten euros,” says Schram. “People do not have to state a date when booking. After their booking, they receive an email with login details for their personal account with which they can later schedule and change the session up to seven days before the activity.” People who want to come and enjoy the Aquapark must also buy a ticket for De Lilse Bergen themselves.
Bad weather? Never.
Even in bad weather, the water park will be open. You can rent wetsuits, so you will always be sufficiently warm. “The advantage is that in bad weather conditions there will be fewer people in the park and the elements will slide better, because you wear a wet suit. So in bad weather conditions, the park has two advantages,” laughs Schram.
To guarantee the safety of the visitors each session starts with a short safety briefing and there will always be lifeguards in the park. All visitors must wear a life jacket and they are insured by the Pelican Aquapark.
