The charm of public swimming pools is, let's say, expandable. This is of course not least due to the radically reduced budgets in the many cities and municipalities, that are made available here. And in other words, currently it cannot be earned…

Sad but true

A "swimming cap squadron” of retired women in the morning, baby swimming with the mother-child-group, the water aerobics group swinging their pool noodles or a swim training of the local sports club – let's be honest: we don't see much more in public swimming pools. Here and there you can meet a school class. But schools had to cut and even abolish swimming lessons just as radically as the municipalities had to reduce their budgets on the swimming pools, which would be so important – not just in terms of leisure activities. After all, it would be life saving for our children to learn to swim. But as a viewer and visitor you often have the feeling that the whole thing is simply accepted. There is not a lot that can be done.

At this point I am not talking about the fact that urgently necessary remedial measures cannot be carried out. Or even about what should be changed politically. It is about what each individual pool and the consortia, that operate several pools, can do to become more attractive - if one is be "surviving" at all. Most of the privately run adventure pools show how it can be done. As the name suggests: they offer adventure. Because a visit to a swimming pool should be fun above all.

Variety and flexibility

As the name suggests, aquafun brings water and fun together. A small course of JUNIOR LINE elements for balancing, climbing and sliding is just as quickly inflated and brought onto the water as it is dismantled again. Regardless of whether it is used as a fun course or for a swimming competition with obstacles.
