High speed? But safe.
The new OCEAN LINE Avalanche combines two essential aspects to perfection: safety and fun. This already starts with the ascent. This does not simply take place on a straight staircase to the top, which carries the risk of slipping. The staircase of the Avalanche is divided into two parts. First you go up on the right, then you have to turn left and then change sides again. If a visitor slips, he will fall down to the middle of the stairs only. This way, the person who has stumbled cannot take others with him when he falls.
The platform at a height of 4 m is completely “roofed”. A net not only protects the visitors, waiting here to slide, from the sun. Above all, it ensures that no one can jump down from up here and injure other visitors swimming by. In addition, “diving” into the net tunnel before diving into the water is another special effect.
With a total height of 5.50 m and a length of 10 m, the Avalanche is definitely one of the biggest attractions an aquafunpark can offer. The unique design also makes it the safest high-speed-slide on the world's seas – and lakes.
