A place to watch out
Sure, you will never be able to avoid everything. But aquafun does a lot to ensure that the safety of visitors on our aquafunparks is guaranteed. For example, we always recommend allowing the use of the park with life jackets only. And in addition to our self-developed safety systems, such as the Safe Step System, we always provide a place for lifeguards at every park. Either integrated in the park design or as an "island" directly next to the aquafunpark.
A Guard Tower shows visitors already from the beach that you, as the operator, take care of the well-being of your visitors. And with the island solution, the design of your park doesn't even have to be adapted. Yes, from a certain capacity a lifeguard has to stay ON the park – as a helper in dangerous situations, as a guard and guide, sometimes as an animator. When playing, people sometimes pay less attention to other visitors or they do not even notice them.
OK, such a Guard Tower is an investment. Some operators would rather buy another attraction for the money. And as long as the number and in general the presence of lifeguards on a water park is not regulated by law, aquafun can only give recommendations. But an investment in the safety of your visitors will always pay off in the end…
